Most wedding photographers either include an engagement portrait session as part of the wedding package or offer it as an additional option. At some wedding photography studios, a limited number of engagement prints are included in the wedding photographer's fee. At others, only the engagement portrait session itself is included in your wedding package. Should you want to purchase prints, you would purchase them. There are certain circumstances in which, brides secure the services of a different photographer for their engagement session. For example, if you live in New York but are getting married in London and have hired a London wedding photographer, it may not be feasible for you to get together with your London photographer for an engagement photo session. In this case, it may be more practical to hire a New York wedding photographer to shoot your engagement portrait session.
