I know it's been done to death, but I like the Trash The Dress idea. Not for the sake of literally ruining a dress, but for the idea of breaking free of staid, traditional portraiture and doing something interactive with the environment. I'll be back with a pic later.

I think the increase in two specific areas are a great trend. First, more and more couples are going for "day after" portrait sessions where they can feel a lot more relaxed than during their wedding day - which really shows through in the final images.

The other trend is the larger sized prints in canvas gallery wraps instead of the traditional framed prints.

The popularity and availability of canvas for sure. It is such a beautiful way to display the photographs.

I agree - Gallery Canvas Prints are so great. I would rather give this to a client than a framed 8x10 any day! My clients LOVE them so much. Testimonials available upon request.

Canvas is totally frickin awesome and is one of the best ways to showcase wedding imagery.

Something else I love but have only had one groom ask me to shoot yet - Proposal Photography. Kind of a cool idea.

I've done the after sessions as well, but rather than getting Canvas, I've have several of my clients get mini albums of the session in addition to the wedding album.
